The Shawnee State Men’s Basketball team are NAIA National Champions!

In their first run in the NAIA National Tournament the Shawnee State Men’s Basketball team has claimed the National Championship Title!

The Bears defeated Lewis Clark State (Idaho) last night 74-68 in Kansas City, MO, marking the team’s 27th consecutive win this season!

Welcome Back Parade

Join Shawnee State University in welcoming back the National Champions!

The Bears will be en route to campus tonight (3/24) starting in Rosemount through Downtown Chillicothe Street, and ending at the Vern Riffe Center of the Arts. The Bears' caravan will be arriving in Rosemount at approximately 7 pm and will make its way towards campus.

If you're in the area, line the route to welcome back the National Championship Team!

Celebration to Follow

Shawnee State University will be celebrating the National Champions in the James A. Rhodes Athletic Center, Waller Gymnasium* after the parade.

The event will be available to watch on the SSU Athletics Facebook Page. Anyone in attendance at the event will be screened at the door and required to follow mask and social distancing guidelines.
