Clinical Experience:
Dr. Teresa Buster, OTD, OTR/L, is a member of the Shawnee State University adjunct faculty, where she has been an adjunct professor since 2020. With over 35 years of clinical practice, Dr. Buster brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Post Professional online OTD program. She is responsible for teaching two courses and has assisted in reviewing capstone presentations.
Her extensive background includes teaching occupational therapy theory and foundations classes at Touro college in Manhattan, providing acute care OT services at Nationwide Children's Hospital and pioneering hand therapy programs in New York. As a senior occupational therapist at the University of Cincinnati and Jewish hospitals, she was a fieldwork placement supervisor and a CPR instructor for staff. Dr. Buster has also managed OT departments, developed policies and procedures for work rehabilitation and pain management programs, and provided private OT services via traveling therapy positions throughout the United States.
An active member of the NYU Counseling for Mental Health and Awareness study group, Dr. Buster is also a dedicated organ and tissue transplant ambassador with Lifeline of Ohio and a volunteer with The Adaptive Adventure Sports Coalition, where she supports adaptive sports for persons with disabilities.
Dr. Buster's commitment to occupational therapy education, her innovative approach to clinical practice, and her active engagement in community service allows for professional excellence and social responsibility.
Favorite aspect of teaching includes cross-functional collaboration with faculty and students. Favorite activities outside of work includes traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Angela Stephens is adjunct faculty at Shawnee State University in both the MOT and OTD programs. Angela has been an Occupational Therapist since 2001 and a Certified Hand Therapist since 2006. She is the Assistant Director of Hand Therapy at Orthopedic One in Columbus, Ohio. Most of her professional career has been dedicated to providing interventions to clients with hand and upper extremity injuries/trauma. Angela is a member of the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association, the American Occupational Association, and the American Society of Hand Therapists. Angela is currently on the Practice Committee for ASHT.
