Certification of benefits is a service provided by the Office of Military and Veteran Services. The office serves as a liaison between Shawnee State University students and the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. We assist student veterans with the processing of VA forms for educational benefits, advise student veterans concerning certain procedural requirements, and certify enrollment of Shawnee State University student veterans to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
New applicants should determine which chapter you will receive educational benefits using the chapter information provided below. Bring a copy of your DD-214 (discharge papers) to the Veterans Coordinator located on the second floor of the University Center.
