Welcome to the Office of Assessment and Accreditation!

This site contains important assessment and accreditation updates as well as assessment resources for faculty and staff.

The OAA assists faculty and staff throughout the assessment process and we advocate for assessment policies and initiatives that put student success first. We also help communicate assessment results and best practices to the campus community and our regional accreditors.

The goals of OAA are twofold:

  1. We support SSU faculty and staff as they develop and implement assessment plans that provide meaningful assessment data that faculty and staff use to improve and deepen their understanding of their program.
  2. We share and report assessment results and uses of assessment data to internal and external stakeholders.
