Psychology is an immensely useful field of study, giving the student new insights into the ways that people feel, think, and behavior, as well as, the tools and methods to study these processes.
Art therapists are mental health professionals who use the creative process of art in order to improve the mental and emotional well-being of their clients. Art therapists work with persons of all ages and walks of life. Art therapists believe that the creative art-making process can be used to help people to satisfactorily resolve a wide variety of mental and emotional conflicts and problems. Art can help improve interpersonal skills, reduce stress and increase self-esteem. Art therapists work in a variety of media including drawing, painting, and sculpture.
Psychology BA - Pre-Art Therapy Concentration
