Program Overview

The psychology pre-art therapy curriculum is designed to provide psychology majors with additional coursework necessary for entrance to master of art therapy programs.

Art Therapy

Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses art as its primary mode of communication. It is practiced by licensed Art Therapists who work with clients of all ages. These clients may display a wide range of diagnoses including emotional, behavioral or mental health problems, learning or physical disabilities, life-limiting conditions, brain-injury or neurological conditions and physical illness.
