Shawnee State University’s Offices of Career Services and Workforce Development will host a Healthcare Career Fair on Monday, Sept. 23.
The event welcomes SSU students and alumni who are interested in talking with potential employers in the healthcare career fields, including Nursing, Dental Hygiene, EMT, Medical Laboratory Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Health Sciences, Exercise Science, Healthcare Administration, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from regional healthcare organizations to discuss potential future employment opportunities.
The Healthcare Career Fair will take place in-person in the Waller Gymnasium of the James A. Rhodes Athletic Center from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. Student and alumni registration information is available online at shawnee.edu/career-services/events.
The event is also accepting employer registrations for the career fair and a Handshake account is required to complete the sign-up process. Employers may create a free account at shawnee.joinhandshake.com. A $50 flat fee is required, with a $10 charge for each additional in-person representative.
