The Shawnee State University Foundation (SSUF) raised $43,325 during Day of Giving, thanks to the support of over 100 campus and community donors. The fundraiser held every year as part of Giving Tuesday – the philanthropic holiday held traditionally the Tuesday after Thanksgiving – raises monies for The Shawnee Fund.
As the Foundation’s unrestricted giving fund, The Shawnee Fund provides support across all areas of campus including scholarships, campus grants, student and faculty research, facility enhancements, student and academic programming, and more. One of the foundation’s most in-demand funds, The Shawnee Fund can provide immediate support to the campus community and its most pressing needs.
“The dedication to the success of our students is truly incredible,” said Jessica Webb, SSUF’s Director of Annual Giving. “The generosity of our donors will provide our students with the tools, resources, and opportunities they will need to graduate and be successful in their career field. This year is particularly special, as we reached our highest amount raised for Day of Giving at SSU! To our donors, we simply cannot thank you enough. “
