Shawnee State University professors Dr. Kyle Vick and Dr. Nicholas Meriwether will make presentations on Gender Identity on Thursday, Mar. 16 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Massie Hall, Room 020.
During the presentation, Dr. Meriwether, SSU Professor of Philosophy, and Dr. Kyle Vick, SSU Professor of Psychology, will provide a twenty-minute presentation by each professor followed by a period of Questions and Answers from the audience. Dr. Meriwether will present a critique on the issue as well as a look at its history, while Dr. Vick will describe the biology of sex, the biology of gender, and the biological distinctness of the two systems.
The discussion is open to the campus and local community to attend.
