Shawnee State University will celebrate the graduates of the Spring Class of 2023 in an in-person Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, Apr. 29 at 11 a.m. on the Alumni Green.
“As I hand diplomas to graduates, I’ll be thinking of how our degrees are being used to change lives in our hospitals, schools, financial institutions, businesses, manufacturing facilities, tech companies, and nearly every sector you can name,” SSU President Jeff Bauer said. “Just as important, those degrees are changing the personal lives of our students, families, neighbors, and friends.”
The Spring Class of 2023 is made up of almost 500 graduates who earned 12 master degrees, nearly 350 bachelor degrees, over 150 associate degrees, and seven academic certificates. Thirty-three students are graduating with more than one degree this semester.
