Shawnee State University has announced its 2021 Homecoming Court as part of its annual Homecoming celebration.

Shawnee State University invites the Portsmouth community to attend their annual Homecoming Weekend activities on Saturday, Oct. 2.

Shawnee State University’s Office of Admissions will host their College & Career Fair on Thursday, Oct. 14.

The Shawnee State University Development Foundation (SSUDF) is hosting their second annual Rubber Duck Derby to raise money for the Shawnee Fund. To be held during the Homecoming Tailgate on Oct. 2, donors can purchase ducks in advance to compete in the derby to support the fundraiser.

Alumna Jennifer Aikman took the time to discover what she was passionate about while at Shawnee State University. While being involved across campus was easy for Aikman, choosing her major took some time to develop, but her choice ended up being the right fit for her.

The Office of Admissions is excited to host their first in-person event of the autumn semester on Saturday, Oct. 2. 

The Shawnee State University Kricker Innovation Hub will host Cal Poly Digital Transformation Hub for their first Entrepreneurial Journey Speaker Series of the Autumn 2021 semester. The event, to be held virtually, will take place on Thursday, Sept. 16 at 5:30 pm.

The Shawnee State University Board of Trustees will meet Friday, September 17, at 11:00 a.m. in Morris University Center Room 215, located on the Shawnee State University campus.

Shawnee State University will hold the Fall Bear Run in a virtual format beginning Sep. 25 and continuing through Oct. 8.

Shawnee State University’s Sport Management program will host its second annual Sports Leadership Summit on Saturday, Oct. 2 as part of the university’s Homecoming Weekend celebrations.
