Shawnee State University’s Office of Admission has announced an additional Orientation date for those students enrolling to the university in the Autumn 2022 semester. A Virtual Orientation will be held on Friday, Aug. 5 starting at 10 a.m.
Students participating in the virtual Orientation will meet with university President Jeff Bauer as well as academic deans Dr. Paul Madden of the College of Professional Studies and Dr. Kimberly Inman of the College of Arts & Sciences. They will also hear from an Admission Associate before meeting with an academic advisor to review their first semester schedule. Optional breakout sessions for parents, as well as for housing and financial aid will be available.
Registration for virtual orientation can be completed online through a student’s MySSU account. Additional information about the New Student Orientation process can be found online at shawnee.edu/orientation.
