Shawnee State University’s Dental Hygiene program will host an Alumni Continuing Education Day on Saturday, Sept. 16. Part of Homecoming Weekend celebrations, the event will offer Dental Hygiene alumni and other dental professionals the opportunity to complete seven continuing education hours.
Continuing Education Day will consist of presentations by program faculty members as well as current dental hygiene students. Katrina Klein, RDH, CPT, CEAS, will present “Career Longevity for the Dental Professional” in the morning before presenting “Ergonomics in Dentistry” in the afternoon.
Registration for Continuing Education Day is available online and is $100 for dentists, $95 for non-SSU dental hygienists, and $85 for SSU Dental Hygiene alumni. Current SSU Dental Hygiene students can register for $20. These prices are for entire day registration where participants will receive a total of seven continuing education hours. Registration fees for morning session and afternoon session only are available as well.
