Shawnee State University Development Foundation’s (SSUDF) fifth annual Day of Giving campaign recently raised over $32,000 thanks to the support of 101 donors on Nov. 30. As part of the national Giving Tuesday initiative, SSUDF holds Day of Giving regularly to benefit The Shawnee Fund – the university’s unrestricted giving fund.
Providing support across all areas of campus including scholarships, campus grants, student and faculty research, facility enhancements, student and academic programming, and more, The Shawnee Fund is one of the foundation’s most in-demand funds when it comes to providing immediate support to the campus community.
“The response we had from our donors was terrific,” said Chris Moore, Executive Director of the SSU Development Foundation. “Our goal was met and eclipsed purely through the generosity of our SSU community and I sincerely thank all of you. This generosity allows us to continue support for programs that give students a transformative experience.”
