Festival of Faculty Achievement

February 4, 2021

Shawnee State University will be hosting the 2021 Festival of Faculty Achievement virtually starting Friday, February 5. This year’s virtual conference will feature 20-50 minute lecture-style webinars, hosted by the Director of SSU’s Teaching & Learning Center (TLC), Patricia Spradlin.

Faculty Festival of Achievement

The Festival of Faculty Achievement is an event to showcase faculty and administrative research and creative accomplishments. Although this year’s conference will be virtual, it is designed to be an interactive and flexible atmosphere that allows participants to benefit from sharing perspectives and knowledge that will generate advances in scholarship on campus.

Pre-recorded sessions will also be available on the TLC’s website and accessible to campus community via Creative Digital Commons after the sessions are completed.

This year’s conference will kick-off on Friday, February 5 starting at noon with Marketing Professor Jason Lovins and his presentation “Circulation Wars in Portsmouth 1897-1904.”

Faculty members interested in participating need to submit their webinar recordings to the TLC by February 15 and completed by March 12. Presentations should be emailed to Spradlin at pspradlin@shawnee.edu.
