Shawnee State University’s Vern Riffe Center for the Arts (VRCFA) welcomes the Broadway musical “Little Women” on Wednesday, Apr. 24, 2024. The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Eloise Covert Smith Theater in the VRCFA.
Produced nationally and internationally, the Broadway musical “Little Women” has been praised by critics for its ambitions in bringing the timeless and captivating story to life on the musical stage. Based on Louisa May Alcott's life, “Little Women” follows the adventures of four sisters – Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy March. Each sister is determined to live on their own terms.
The musical “Little Women” embodies the complete theatrical experience, leaving audiences filled with a sense of adventure, joy, heartache, and a lifting of the spirit. The powerful score, composed by Jason Howland, soars with the sounds of personal discovery, heartbreak, hope, and everlasting love — the sounds of young America finding its voice.

Ticket prices for the show are $59.00 for Standard, $55.00 for Seniors, and $45.00 for those 18 & under. Handicap accessible seating is available upon request.
