Graduating from Shawnee State University in 2009 with a degree focused on Visual Communications, Sam Bowman has continuously moved his career up in the marketing world.
“I quickly moved into the brand management side of my industry just because I love the creativeness through marketing,” said Bowman. “It made perfect sense.”
Dr. Erik Larson receives SSU Distinguished Teaching Award
Shawnee State University has announced the 2024 Faculty Awards. As part of this year’s presentation, the recipient of the Board of Trustees Distinguished Teaching Award is Dr. Erik Larson. An Associate Professor of Geology at SSU, Dr. Larson has been with the university since 2014.
Shawnee State University inaugurates eighth President Eric Andrew Braun
In a celebration held on campus in the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts, President Braun was sworn in by university Board of Trustees Chairperson Scott Evans. The ceremony also included the presentation of several community, faculty, and student awards celebrating the inaugural theme of Innovation, Collaboration, and Learning.
SSU Nursing student gains career opportunities in hands-on field
Megan Steele, a Chillicothe, Ohio native, has found where she belongs in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Shawnee State University.
“I chose Shawnee because it’s close to home, has affordable tuition, and smaller classes for one-on-one time with professors,” she said.
