Shawnee State University’s Kricker Innovation Hub and the BESTOhio Industry Sector Partnership will host an Advanced Manufacturing & Trades Expo on Monday, May 6. The event welcomes those interested in learning more about in-demand careers in advanced manufacturing and trade sectors to talk with employers, explore training opportunities, and strengthen their resume.
The event will begin at 8 a.m. with coffee networking between participants and industry experts. From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. attendees can browse the expo to talk with different employers and industry partners to learn more about career opportunities. Starting at 12 p.m., participants are also invited to participate in a four-hour Lean Six Sigma White Belt Training with lunch included. Lean Six Sigma training is an industry recognized leadership and management certification that can strengthen participant’s resumes for potential employers.
Registration for the Advanced Manufacturing & Trades Expo can be completed online at bit.ly/AMTE. The event is free and open to the public to attend.
