Shawnee State University is part of a statewide campaign aimed at eliminating sexual violence on college campuses by aligning our efforts, our responsibilities, our communities, and our response to sexual violence.
Together, we can stop sexual violence.
Our campus community is teaming up with college campuses across Ohio, under the guidance of the Ohio Department of Higher Education, to end sexual violence. Research shows that 11% of all college students experience sexual violence. Nationally, instances are even higher among women (23%) and LGBTQ (73%). Shawnee State believes that together, we can raise awareness and make a difference.
