Psychiatric-related physical exams/labs may be at no cost to the student when referred by SSU Campus Counseling Services.
Billing for Emergency, Urgent, and Routine Care
Patients are financially responsible for the cost of treatment. Southern Ohio Medical Center will bill the patient's health insurance or follow their established billing practices for self-pay patients, including financial assistance for those who qualify for the Hospital Care Assurance Program (HCAP). HCAP is a state and federal program administered by the Ohio Department of Medicaid.
