Many of your campus accounts have a password self-service reset feature that will allow you to reset your password if you forget it. Be sure to register now for this service, before you need it.
To take advantage of this feature, please take a few moments and enroll for each account listed below. Once you have successfully completed the quick enrollment process for each account you will be able to reset your passwords for any of these accounts without visiting the Help Desk. You can even reset them from off campus if you need to. If you do not register for this self-service feature, you will need to visit the UIS Help Desk in person with a photo ID to reset any forgotten passwords.
This account allows you to log onto all university owned computers, faculty/staff email, and wireless/residential networks around campus.
To enroll in the password self-service reset feature for this account, follow the directions below. During the enrollment process, you will be offered 10 questions, you need to answer at least 5 out of the 10 questions. Be sure to remember your answers because when you forget your password you will be able to reset it simply by answering 3 of these questions correctly.
Now that you are registered, you can reset your password from any place, either on or off campus. For more information about your Network Account please visit www.shawnee.edu/uis.
This account is used to access SSU’s Web Portal. The MySSU account also provides integrated logon for Blackboard. This account uses the ID number that was assigned to you when you first applied at SSU and can be found on your student ID card and all official communications from SSU.

This account is your MyMail Account that provides you access to your Live@edu Shawnee State University Email.
