Shawnee State is Military-Friendly and offers in-state tuition, credits for military training, assistance with education benefits and support.
Thank you for your service to this country. Our staff is honored to help you access your military education benefits, transition to college life, and succeed in earning your degree and launching your chosen career.
SSU is an excellent choice for military veterans due to its small class sizes which allow faculty to better understand the needs of veteran students.
The university also has an active student veteran club, counseling tailored to the needs of military veterans, and a dynamic Office of Military and Veteran Services office that supports students as they adjust to college-level academic work.
