If you decide you are interested in competing for a seat in one or more of the Health Sciences programs, you MUST FIRST apply to the University. We make it convenient with our online application for admission. Declaring a Health Sciences program degree major on the University application DOES NOT mean that you have applied to that program!
After we receive your admission application, you will be sent a letter indicating that your application has been received, along with further information about applying to the specific Health Science Program of your choice.
In the Office of Admission, we have a Health Sciences Representative who will collect and process your information.
Have you already missed a deadline for a Fall Health Science class?
If so, we urge you to still attend Shawnee State University this fall. The Health Sciences program degrees are academically challenging. You may find that you need to first take some preparatory college courses prior to applying to a Health Science program or to enhance your application packet materials. The Student Success Center staff will help advise you on appropriate coursework during that year.
