We are working to support the needs of our regional business community.
We are partnering with our regional businesses and organizations to provide needed
training and commercial services both on and off campus. Local companies work with
our faculty members and students to conduct experimental research on campus. In the
coming months, our new mobile training unit, made possible by a grant through the
Ohio Department of Higher Education's RAPIDS program, will become available to provide area businesses with additive manufacturing services
as well as programmable logic controller (PLC) training.
What training and commercial needs does your business have?
Shawnee State University might be able to help by providing non-credit training at
your site, on Shawnee State's campus or eventually in our new Innovation Accelerator
when it opens on Chillicothe Street in 2017. Let us also know about any commercial
service needs (i.e. research, testing) your business might have. We're here to help
make our regional business community partners successful. Contact our Workforce Development
office at (740) 351-3322, or email our Workforce Development Coordinator, Angie Duduit,
