OhioMeansJobs Workforce Development Revolving Loan Program

Available for Paramedic Certificate and Associate Degree in Nursing

 

In October 2017, Shawnee State University was approved as an eligible institution in the OhioMeansJobs Workforce Development Revolving Loan Program for the Emergency Medical Technology and Associate Degree in Nursing programs.

The Ohio Department of Education awarded Shawnee State a total of $450,000, and students enrolled in the programs referenced above may apply for loans through this program which promotes and encourages Ohio's workforce development and job growth through educational training and retraining in programs related to employment opportunities in growing fields.

Students who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for loan funds:
• Enrolled in an eligible program – Associate Degree Nursing or Paramedic Certificate Program
• Resident of Ohio
• Current on all federal student loans
Loan funds may only be used toward the costs of your program. No refunds will be issued as a result of these funds.
