About Tapestries:

Tapestries:Women Weaving our World is a literary magazine that is published every year by the Women’s Center.  It features short stories, poems, essays and artwork (ceramics, photography, paintings and drawings) that are by or about women.  You do not need to be a woman to participate, so if you have artistic works that you would like to see published, please consider submitting them by January 30th.  To submit items, please email them to tpiontek@shawnee.edu or ssmith@shawnee.edu. 

In April the Women’s Center will hold a release party to celebrate the new edition.  The entire university community will be invited to attend the celebration and those whose works are included in the journal will read and/or talk about their pieces.
