About Higher Education Information (HEI)
The
Higher Education Information (HEI) system is a comprehensive relational
database that includes data on students, courses, faculty, facilities, and
finances supplied by Ohio's colleges and universities. The Ohio Board of
Regents, state legislators, other state agencies, and universities utilize
this data for various purposes. The readily available information is the
basis for computing funding allocations, gathering information pertaining to
student enrollment and graduation, facility space utilization, and faculty
