            New students check in at Shawnee State University on move-in day, Saturday, Aug. 15, to pick up welcome packets with apartment keys, parking permits, mailbox numbers, maps and information for setting up computers. According to a preliminary report, a total of 1,345 new students were enrolled for the fall semester with a total of 4,300 students, an increase of 8.1 percent over last year.
