Cheerleaders and dance team
take the stage to welcome record number of students at
Shawnee State University
The cheerleaders and dance team took the stage at the
Vern Riffe Center for the Arts on Tuesday, Aug. 18, as part
of the program to welcome the students to Shawnee State
University. The official count of 4,300 students was
released on Wednesday, Sept. 2, with 4,200 undergraduate
students and 80 graduate students – an increase of 200
students over last year with nearly 900 of those as resident
students.
