Guest Lecturer Talks About Women’s Roles in Appalachia at Shawnee State University
Mandilyn Hart, executive director of the newly formed
nonprofit organization, Center for Appalachian Philanthropy,
was guest lecturer at Shawnee State University on Tuesday,
Nov. 17 in Clark Memorial Library’s Flohr Lecture Hall. She
talked about the special role women play in serving the
needs of Appalachia. The mission of the Center for
Appalachian Philanthropy is to grow philanthropy in
Appalachia by being the hub of connectivity between
philanthropists and the people who need their support. |
