Art lovers attended the opening of a new show at Shawnee State University's Appleton Gallery in the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts in October. Dr. Ken Carlson, associate professor in Teacher Education, discusses a work of art with artist Tina Tammaro at the artists' reception. The pieces are part of "She Said," a new show running through Nov. 18 at the gallery. The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
