Master of Occupational Therapy Students at Shawnee State
Volunteer in the Community
The Master of Occupational Therapy students spend time in
the community volunteering on several projects. In this
photo, they walk with center members at the 14th Street
Community Center, focusing on target heart rates and body
mass index. They walk one to two miles each time. They also
work on the Ohio Fatherhood Initiative, nutrition,
grandparent mentoring, after school tutoring, new parenting,
convenient and nutritious meals and a community newsletter.
