Clark Planetarium announces fall schedule
The Clark Planetarium public shows for fall semester will be
taking place every Monday and Friday at 7 p.m. through
Friday, Dec. 4 in the Advanced Technology Center on the
Shawnee State University campus.
All public shows are free to the public and school groups
are able to schedule free private shows to the planetarium.
“We changed the fees a couple of years ago or so, to make it
easier for the public to attend,” said Planetarium Director
Tim Hamilton. “Private shows (scheduled field trips and the
like) are different, but school visits are also free.”
Programming will vary and shows include what you can see in
the sky “tonight,” as well as educational entertainment
about black holes, the space race, and the Hubble Space
Telescope.
For information on scheduling your own private planetarium
show, please call the information line at (740) 351-3125, or
the scheduler at (740) 351-3222.
