The Open House is a way to explore SSU and interact with faculty, staff and students. The program offers a variety of events throughout the day, including academic sessions with professors covering all of the majors offered.
"The Open House provides prospective students and their families an opportunity to really get to know Shawnee State University," said Bob Trusz, director of the Office of Admissions.
A parent session/panel group is planned that includes the directors from the offices of Admission, Financial Aid, Housing, Student Success Center and Student Activities.
The students will attend a panel session with current SSU students. The day also includes campus and housing tours, and for prospective athletes there is a NAIA college athletics session. The Open House program is free and open to the public.
