Nearly 500 area
students attend College Day at Shawnee State University
Shawnee State University hosted College Day 2009 with 45
colleges and universities and several branches of the
military present at the Frank and Janis Waller Gymnasium in
the James A. Rhodes Athletic Center on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
Nearly 500 students from Pike and Scioto counties attended.
The goal for the day was to expose local students to
different opportunities that are available to them. SSU
provides this opportunity annually as a public service and
to give students the opportunity to see the SSU campus.
