The Home for Aged Women Scholarship awarded to Samantha
Storts at Shawnee State University
The Shawnee
State University Scholarship Committee awarded the 2009-10
Home for Aged Women Scholarship to Samantha Storts of $200.
Applicants of
this scholarship must have filed an application for
admission to a degree program. They must be able to submit a
high school transcript or G.E.D. score or college
transcripts if applicable. They must demonstrate financial
need and have completed the FAFSA.
Recipient
Samantha Storts, daughter of Lonnie and Lynn Riggs, of
Greenfield, Ohio in Highland County, is a 2009 graduate of
Greenfield McClain High School and was a member of the
newspaper staff, FFA and Spanish Club in high school. She
plans to become an occupational therapist assistant.
The funds of
this scholarship are administered by the SSU Development
Foundation. Individuals or organizations interested in
