Unique percussionists performed at Shawnee State University

Visiting percussionists, Allen Otte, of the percussion group Cincinnati, and Bonnie Whiting Smith, presented a concert, "Speaking Of and After Cage" at Shawnee State University on Wednesday, Sept. 21. Unusual use of percussion and voice featured the original music and the unique work of John Cage, Corey Darget and Frederic Rzewski. During the performance, traditional percussion instruments, found objects, and piano came together with voice to create fascinating and unique sounds.
