With low mortgage rates and real estate prices dropping, now may be the time to begin a career in real estate. According to the Ohio Association of Realtors, The Ohio REALTOR Market Confidence Index, compiled from a random sampling of OAR members, shows steady improvement in the profession's long-term outlook.
Three 40-hour pre-licensing courses are scheduled at Shawnee State University beginning September 11. The courses include Real Estate Principles and Practices, Real Estate Law, and Real Estate Finance and Appraisal.
The registration fee for an individual course is $429. If participating in all three courses, registration is $999. The fees must be paid by Thursday, Sept. 6.
