Entrepreneurs, small business owners and employees have an opportunity to learn useful, proven tips from the experts to become successful business owners.
"Pathways to Small Business Success" will be presented 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15 at Shawnee State University's Sodexo Ballroom. Experts will guide the participants in obtaining capital, contract opportunities and building relationships with other businesses.
Topics covered include accounting and budget, business financing, marketing and sales, procurement and purchasing, and selling to government.
The Southern Ohio Procurement Outreach Center is presenting the program to promote economic growth in the community. They also provide confidential one-on-one business consulting to assist with government contracting.
