Summer Preview introduces families to Shawnee State University campus

More than 200 families arrived at Shawnee State University on Friday, Aug.10 for a Summer Preview of the university. Parents and students were introduced to the various programs and toured the buildings and facilities on campus, given lunch and tours of the housing units. Families came from Kentucky, South Carolina, Illinois, Maryland as well as Ohio. The Drake family came from North Bend, Ohio. Sandy Drake, front left, with husband, Tim, tour the housing units. Left back is daughter's friend, Olivia Eckstein, and daughter, Shayna. They are looking at the nursing program at SSU. The next group visit day will be Fall Open House on Saturday, Nov. 3.
