Students in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at Shawnee State University helped establish a new scholarship for students in the program.
The Kay Beegan Physical Therapy Assistant Scholarship Fund at Shawnee State University was named to honor long-time faculty member Kay Beegan.
"We thought it would be a good idea to name this scholarship after Kay," said Neil Evans, associate professor, PTA program. "She has been involved in the program since the beginning."
On June 2, the group is having a golf scramble to raise funds for the scholarship. For more information, contact Libby Hooper at hooperL@mymail.shawnee.edu or Kim Dickey at (740) 351-3006 or email@example.com.
Any donations can be sent to the PTA Scholarship Fund, SSU Development Foundation, 940 Second Street, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662.
