Shawnee State University student Tristan Rumfield has been awarded the 2010-11 George Heller Memorial Scholarship.
The scholarship was established in 2007 by Dr. John and Mrs. Linda Walker to honor the memory of long-time Portsmouth High School basketball coach, George Heller. It is alternately awarded annually between women and men basketball players and is selected by the coach and the athletic director.
The funds of this scholarship are administered by the SSU Development Foundation. Individuals or organizations interested in establishing a scholarship can call the SSU Development Foundation at (740) 351-3284.
