The Southern Ohio Performing Arts Association is presenting an evening of song and celebration with The Ohio State University Men's Glee Club at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1 in the main theater of Shawnee State University's Vern Riffe Center for the Arts.
Brothers in song since 1875, The OSU Men's Glee Club is committed to excellence through artistry, achievement in academics, and outreach throughout the community. The group has a repertoire of songs spanning from "Carmen Ohio," the "Buckeye Battle Cry," and 70's classics and beyond. It is an evening of fun and fellowship for the entire family.
Tickets for the fundraiser are $20 for lower tier and $15 for upper tier. As an added bonus, patrons are also invited to grab a bite to eat and "Picnic with the Bucks" from 5 to 6:30 p.m. before the concert. Cost for the dinner is $15 per ticket and will include hamburgers, hot dogs, and all your favorite picnic side dishes.
All proceeds from the concert and picnic will benefit SOPAA and help fund future performances at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts.
