Shawnee State University awarded several SSU students the 2010-11 Home for Aged Women Scholarship.
Recipients of the 2010-2011 Home for Aged Women Scholarship include Destiny Adkins, Blake Allen, Holli Allison, Kaila Basford, Brooke Biller, Kayla Bocook, Erin Brown, Courtney Brunty, Theresa Centers, Lindsey Charles, Christina Diehl, Olivia Dyer, Andria Fisher, Monica Ford, Brandy Gregg, Cheryl Hance, Nicole Johnson, Kristin Kraft, Amanda Massie, Raymona Minor, Brittany Mossbarger, Whitney Mullins, Trisha Near, Leslie Niday, Brittney Pickles, Mariah Reisinger, Monica Saltsman, Sarah Sexton, Mary Shanton, Britney Silcott, Brittany Sloas, Ashley Speas, Cassandra Spires, Kimberly Stalder, Samantha Storts, Tashina Thacker, Natasha Vance, Jessica Winkelman, Kristen Wright and Crystal Zimmerman.
The scholarship was established in 1993 and the Board of the Home for Aged Women awards the scholarships to female students in Health Sciences at SSU.
