            Shawnee State University will be the site of regional auditions of the popular CW show “America’s Next top Model” hosted by Tyra Banks on Friday, April 9, from 5 until 9 p.m.in the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts.
            Sponsored by the Tri-State’s CW channel, the regional audition is the only audition site in the entire tri-state area. The only other audition sites in Ohio are in Columbus and Toledo.
There is no charge to audition and no reservations are needed. Applicants will need to bring three pictures to the casting call: One full body shot (clothed); one full body shot (swimsuit); and one headshot.
            Applicants will also need to bring two forms of identification, be a U.S. citizen, and have no modeling experience in a national campaign in the past five years. Applicants must be a female between the ages of 18 and 27 and they must be 5’7” or taller.
            Auditions will take between 5 to 10 minutes and will include posing for the television camera, runway walks, and a three-minute on-camera interview. All video, photos and application materials will be forwarded to Los Angeles for review by America’s Next Top Model judges.
            Audition applications will be available in the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts lobby before the audition.
