Armed Forces Appreciation Day will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29 when the Shawnee State University Bears Baseball hosts Cedarville University at Branch Rickey Park in Portsmouth.

All fans in attendance are eligible for a random drawing of SSU T-Shirts, Hats and two tickets to a Cincinnati Reds game in 2011. The Bears baseball team will sport camouflage game jerseys in tribute to veterans and active duty military members.

Baseball players Quentin Everman, a junior from Galloway, Ohio, left, and Jordan Maier, a junior from Heath, Ohio, both sports management majors at Shawnee State University, are two members of the Bears Baseball Team. They sport the camouflage uniform of the day for Armed Forces Appreciation Day at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29 at Branch Rickey Park in Portsmouth. The Bears will be playing Cedarville University. All fans in attendance will be eligible for prizes and two tickets to a Cincinnati Reds game in 2011 will be given away.
