Alcohol Awareness Week planned at Shawnee State University

Alcohol Awareness Week activities are planned at Shawnee State University for Monday April 4 through Thursday, April 7.

During the week art work created by SSU students about alcohol and prescription drug use will be displayed in the University Center.

Monday, "The Cost of Alcohol," a brief quiz to test a student's knowledge about the facts around alcohol and alcohol abuse, and free cotton candy will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On Tuesday, April 5, video games wearing goggles with a drunken twist will be available for students to try their hand in "Are you a buzz or a buzz kill?"

An information table will be available on Wednesday. Thursday, April 7, is National Alcohol Screening Day with free snow cones from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
