About 20 students from Boston College in Massachusetts spent their Spring Break working for Habitat for Humanity in Portsmouth. For lunch one day while they were here, Shawnee State University's President Rita Rice Morris treated the students to a pizza lunch from Sodexo at Cornerstone Methodist Church where the students stayed.
She said that when SSU's students go out of town for Alternative Spring and Winter Breaks, people are good to them and she wanted the Boston College students to know how much we appreciate their help in Portsmouth, and to show them where southern hospitality begins.
