            Shawnee State University’s Office of Career Services will be hosting a Job Searching in a Challenging Market workshop from 4 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23 in the University Center, Room 214.
            Steve Gregory, director of the Office of Career Services will be giving a presentation at the workshop on how to find a job in the challenging market.
            “The economy shows signs of improving but it’s going to take time and good decisions of our government,” Gregory said. “Our government is going to have to help us, we really need jobs in this area.”
            Gregory will be discussing what students need to do to get a job in the job market after graduation, even if it isn’t their dream job.
            “Students are going to have to learn to think outside of the box,” Gregory said. “They may have to take something they hadn’t planned on doing and they need to look at all kinds of related jobs and not focus on one job,” Gregory said.
