David Zender, an HR professional, has been appointed as the new director of Human Resources at Shawnee State University. He has worked with SSU as an HR consultant since August 2012.
“During this time, Dave’s expertise, advisory capabilities, and leadership abilities have been positively acknowledged by members of the campus community,” said Elinda Boyles, Ph.D., vice president for Finance and Administration at Shawnee State.
Zender is a seasoned organizational development and HR professional, with specialized experience in organizational development, HR management, HR process improvement, problem identification and analysis, leading major change projects for human resources, business systems, information technology, and technical leadership experience. Zender brings with him more than 30 years’ experience in organizational development and human resources. He has both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in education.
He has worked as a principal consultant and at the senior management level at a number of firms over the years, including SENCO Products, Inc., L-3 Communications – Nova Engineering, DZA LLC, and MPI Consulting, Inc.
