Port City Pub presents $950 to SSU's Creative Writing Fund

John Hogan, right, co-owner of Port City Pub, presented Neil Carpathios, center, assistant professor of English and Humanities at Shawnee State, with a check for $950, net proceeds of a fundraiser for Shawnee State University's Creative Writing Fund established to assist in rewarding upcoming, talented student writers. This is the second year the Pub has held the Robert Burns traditional "Burns Supper" and net proceeds were presented for the Creative Writing Fund.
